If you are photosensitive, or if you just want to be safe while out in the sun, then this product is made especially for you. Total Block is a unique, complete sun block for UVB/UVA, visible and infrared light, offering a full spectrum of sun protection for all types of skin. Total Block contains no PABA.

Total Block SPF 60 Foundation is a pigmented liquid that can be used as makeup as well as sun block. The shade is easily matched to your natural skin tone with the "color concentrates" included with each bottle. Total Block SPF 65 Clear dries invisible on the skin.

Total Block can be used whenever there is concern about sun exposure:

Skin cancer protection and prevention for outdoor activities
Following laser surgery, chemical peel, or microdermabrasion
For individuals with lupus or medication-induced photosensitivity
Following facial trauma to prevent darkening of scars

What's the big deal about SPF 60? I heard that an SPF of 30 isn't that much better than SPF of 15.

Currently, SPF ratings are measured for UVB rays only. That's one small category of light waves that are known to cause skin cancer in humans. Within this range, Total Block rates an SPF of 60. It's true that an SPF of 30 isn't much better than a 15, but it is better and a 60 is much better than a 15. In the past, higher SPF products have not been recommended because they were too thick, were hard to "rub in" to the skin, and often caused breakouts. Total Block has overcome these problems to produce a skin friendly solution to the sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays.

Is Total Block non-comedogenic?

Testing indicates that Total Block will not cause acne or worsen outbreaks.

How long will a bottle last?

Used once a day, a 2-ounce bottle should last approximately 2 months

Is the preparation waterproof?

No, it is water washable and cleans up with soap and water.

Can I use a moisturizer with Total Block?

Yes, apply the moisturizer first and let it dry before applying Total Block.

Will Total Block stain clothing?

Yes, just like any other foundation.
