SinEcch
for the reduction of postoperative bruising and swelling

After your surgery, you
will want to return to your normal activities as soon as possible. Bruising
and swelling can prolong your uncomfortable recovery period. SinEcch can
reduce the amount of brusing and swelling and shorten the time to complete
recovery!
Sinecch reduces
bruising and swelling from:
Facelift surgery
Rhinoplasty (Nose)
Liposuction
Blepharoplsty (Eyelid surgery)
Breast Augmentation
Breast Reduction
as well as most other plastic surgery procedures.
SinEcch is all
natural!
SinEcch
is prepared from the herb, Arnica Montana, which grows in the Swiss Alps.
Arnica has been used for hundreds of years by European doctors to reduce
bruising and swelling after traumatic injuries. SinEcch is prepared as a
homeopathic medicine according to FDA-regulated standards.
SinEcch is proven effective!
SinEcch was used in two
recent research studies on facelift patients and liposuction patients to
test its ablity to reduce bruising and swelling.

In one study, performed at the Univeristy of California - San Francisco,
patients who wanted a facelift agreed to take either SinEcch or a placebo,
which was just a sugar pill without any medication in it.
The doctors photographed the patients' faces on several different days after
surgery and measured how much bruising the patients had. Then the doctors
compared the average amount of bruising for the patients who received
SinEcch to the average amount of bruising for the patients who received the
placebo. The comparison showed that the patients who took the placebo had on
average 24% more bruising than the group which took SinEcch. On post-op day
7, the patients who took the placebo had 41% more bruising than the patients
who took SinEcch.

In the second study patients who wanted to have liposuction were asked to
take either SinEcch or a placebo. Their doctor took photos of them one, two,
three, and four weeks after the patients' surgeries. The photographs were
looked at by expert plastic surgeons who determined that the patients who
took SinEcch had much less bruising and swelling than the patients who took
only a placebo sugar pill.
SinEcch is safe!
In a report published
September 15, 2003, Homeopathic Arnica Montana, the active ingredient in
SinEcch, was stated to be safe for use in plastic surgery by a national
committee of experts.
The report was published by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons' DATA
committee. (DATA stands for "Device And Technology Assessment").
The report states:
"Arnica Montana, marketed as SinEcch by Alpine Pharmaceuticals (San
Rafael, Calif.), is used by many plastic surgeons to limit postoperative
edema (swelling) and ecchymosis (bruising). In their advertising literature,
the company provides a large number of testimonials from plastic surgeons
who use the product and feel that it is effective."
"It is encouraging, for the time being, that significant toxicity has
not been reported, despite increasingly widespread use of the agent."
The DATA committee's report appeared in the official Journal of the American
Society of Plastic Surgeons, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the
September 15, 2003 edition. (Volume 112 Number 4, pages 1164-6)
